Challenges
The Holzenergie Schweiz Association wanted to modernise its online presence. The main challenge was to consolidate scattered information and effectively guide a variety of audiences – individuals, professionals and decision-makers – towards specific objectives. They needed concrete answers to understand the benefits of wood energy, find training courses, locate suppliers and consult industry news.
The new website had to be trilingual (DE/FR/IT) and centralise all the essential sections (news, calendar, training courses, marketplace, partners, etc.) while remaining easy for the association's team to manage on a daily basis.
Our solutions
We have designed a flexible and robust digital platform based on a CMS adapted to a large volume of trilingual content.
Intuitive structure and navigation: Each type of content (lists, fact sheets, filters) has been optimised for clear and consistent presentation. Navigation has been simplified so that visitors can quickly find what they are looking for: information, training, participation, or finding a partner.
Targeted content: We have developed several dynamic and easy-to-update modules:
News and press releases to relay positions and inform the public.
Calendar and events for training courses and conferences.
Training sheets dedicated to basic and advanced courses.
A Marktplatz to connect supply and demand for wood energy (logs, pellets, heating systems, etc.).
A regional partners area for local support.
A media library to centralise documents for download.
An online shop to order publications.
Design: Created in collaboration with Donuts Communication, the design emphasises visual clarity and the ecological and economic benefits of wood energy.
The benefits
Autonomous and efficient management
Thanks to our content management system, the Holzenergie team can now easily update the website without the need for technical skills. The 2008 site was not responsive and ran on an outdated version of TYPO3. The complete redesign aimed to solve these problems and make management easier.
Better visibility on search engines
The new site is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO) to attract more qualified visitors and improve the company's visibility on platforms such as Google in the long term.
A professional and modern brand image
The website design, which had undergone minor changes since 2008, has been completely redesigned to reflect Holzenergie's expertise and credibility. This new design boosts visitor confidence and helps the company stand out from the crowd.
