Challenges

Bringing the online image in line with the company's positioning

Doutaz SA, a family firm founded in Bulle by Marc and Mathieu Doutaz, steers real-estate projects from the first sketch through to handover. Architecture, development, site management and general contracting sit under one roof. The website had to carry that standard: respect, transparency, quality and durability, without looking like a frozen brochure.

Making completed work visible and easy to understand

Projects follow one another in Fribourg, Marly, Lausanne, Rossens, Mies and Collombey-Muraz, from collective housing to industrial and commercial buildings. Without a clear presentation, visitors struggled to grasp the breadth of the firm's expertise. Doutaz needed a showcase that truly put sites forward and strengthened visibility.

Organising a growing volume of content

Projects, news, recruitment and service pages keep expanding. The issue was not only to "build a new website", but to get a more readable structure so each piece of content has a place and stays easy to keep up to date.

Starting from a technical base that can evolve

The redesign had to rest on a solid CMS, able to host French and German, manage detailed project sheets and stay fast on mobile as well as desktop. The goal was a lasting tool, not merely a prettier home page.

Our solutions

A full redesign on Neos CMS

We built the site on Neos, the CMS we use for demanding showcase websites. The Doutaz team can publish and adjust content in a clear framework, without calling a supplier for every news item or every new project.

A filtered, structured project portfolio

The Projects page lists completed work with filters by category: collective housing, individual housing, industrial and commercial. Each sheet can detail the type of mandate, volumes, dates and programme. Visitors quickly see where Doutaz works and in which role.

A content architecture for the whole Doutaz ecosystem

About, projects, news, jobs and contact sit in a simple navigation. The site distinguishes Doutaz SA and Doutaz Architecture SA, and shows the Bulle, Bussigny and Monthey addresses. News and social-network links keep the site in step with the company.

Careful graphic design, built for mobile

The visual design was created by the Inventaire agency. We turned it into fast pages, readable on a smartphone as well as a large screen, with a clear hierarchy: the essentials first, project details next.

The benefits

Projects given the prominence they deserve

Housing, retail, industry or public facilities: completed work is now presented with impact. A prospect, a partner or a candidate understands in a few clicks where Doutaz operates in French-speaking Switzerland.

Clearer day-to-day content organisation

Projects, news and jobs no longer overlap. That structure saves the team time: each update has a logical place, and the site stays coherent as the catalogue of projects grows.

A smooth experience, including on mobile

The site loads quickly and remains pleasant to browse on a phone. That is the most common context for discovering a project, a job offer or a contact point.

A professional presence built to last

Neos provides a scalable foundation: new sheets, new locations and new services can be added without rebuilding everything. Doutaz now has a tool that matches its follow-through, from the first sketch to handover.

Partners

The website’s graphic design was created by the agency Inventaire. This close collaboration with Doutaz SA and their teams enabled an efficient and responsive workflow. Working hand in hand, this partnership was guided by shared values: efficiency, direct communication, and a human approach.
